釈迦如来（しゃかにょらい）は、釈迦（ゴータマ・シッダッタ）の如来としてのお名前で、仏教の開祖として広く信仰されています。
彫刻にも適した小松石を使用し、茨城県の石工が手彫りで製作しました。全て手作りの一点物です。

すべての人々を悟りへ導く、釈迦如来

釈迦如来は、真理を説き、人々に悟りの道を示した存在であり、「悟りを開いた者」として尊ばれます。
現世の苦しみや悩みに寄り添いながら、誰もが仏の智慧に目覚められることを教え、救いへと導いてくださる存在です。釈迦如来への信仰は、自身の内なる成長や、穏やかな心を得る手助けとなるとされ、家庭の安寧、心の平穏、人生の指針を求める方々に広く崇められています。

古い歴史を持つ銘石、神奈川県産小松石を使用

小松石（こまついし）は神奈川県真鶴町の小松山から採掘される安山岩です。箱根火山の噴火によって数十万年前に形成された輝石安山岩の一種で、古い歴史を持つ銘石として知られています。
採掘されたばかりの石は鉄分を多く含む赤褐色に覆われていますが、研磨することで淡い灰緑色が現れ、独特の上品な表情を見せてくれます。
年月とともに表面の鉄分が酸化し、深みのある風合いが増していくのも特徴です。
小松石はきわめて粘り強く、耐久性に優れているため、江戸城や小田原城の石垣、源頼朝や徳川家の墓といった歴史的建造物や墓所に多く使われてきました。現在も墓石、記念碑、庭石、建築材、造園材など幅広い用途で活用されています。

Uses Komatsu stone from Kanagawa Prefecture, a famous stone with a long history

Komatsu stone is an andesite mined from Mount Komatsu in Manazuru Town, Kanagawa Prefecture. It is a type of pyroxene andesite formed hundreds of thousands of years ago by the eruption of the Hakone volcano, and is known as a famous stone with a long history.
When the stone is freshly mined, it is covered in a reddish-brown color due to the iron content, but when polished, a pale gray-green color appears, giving it a unique and elegant appearance.
Over time, the iron on the surface oxidizes, giving it a deeper texture.
Because Komatsu stone is extremely tough and durable, it has been used in many historical buildings and burial sites, such as the stone walls of Edo Castle and Odawara Castle, and the tombs of Minamoto no Yoritomo and the Tokugawa family. Even today, it is used for a wide range of purposes, including as gravestones, monuments, garden stones, building materials, and landscaping materials.
