四方仏とは金光明経に説く、四方に位置する仏様です。東方の阿閦（あしゅく）、南方の宝相、西方の無量寿（阿弥陀）、北方の微妙声（みみょうしょう）。

岐阜県産 蛭川錆石

御影石では珍しい、黄や赤みがかった錆色が特徴の蛭川錆石。岐阜県中津川市の蛭川のあたりでしか産出されない石です。その石肌が好まれ、建築材や鳥居、彫刻など幅広く使われています。
