優しい風合いのレリーフ調のお地蔵さま
にっこりとほほ笑むお地蔵さまは、ISHIMOのために特別に職人が彫った、一点物。穏やかな表情で、合掌するお姿を前にすると、自然と心が和みます。日本庭園やご自宅のお庭などによく馴染む、日本らしい、ナチュラルな質感に仕上げています。
落ち着いた雰囲気の砂岩、島根県産来待石を使用
お地蔵さまに使用されている茶褐色の石は、島根県産の来待石。島根県・宍道湖の南岸（松江市宍道町来待地区）で切り出される、凝灰質砂岩です。砂岩特有の、穏やかな風合いと石肌が評価されています。石質は粒子が緻密で、やわらかく、切り出しや加工がしやすいため、気品高く優雅な作品が仕上がります。
なお、来待石は苔のつきやすい石材です。日本的なわびさびを演出するのに最適な石と言えます。外で長年置いていただくほどに古色がつき自然に溶け込んでくれます。本商品も弊社の庭においているので、時間が経つほどに古色がついていきます。商品ページに載せている写真は新品の状態です。現在の色合いが気になる方はお問い合わせください。

The stone, in a brownish hue, is Shimane Prefecture's Kimachi stone. Quarried from the southern shore of Lake Shinji in Matsue City, Shimane, it is a volcanic ash sandstone. Appreciated for its gentle appearance and smooth texture, the stone is fine-grained and soft, making it easy to cut and carve.
