A one-of-a-kind stone Buddha crafted by hand from the rare and no longer extractable Hon-Mikage stone, a granite with a serene Japanese aesthetic. Executed by skilled artisans in Kyoto, this sculpture preserves the natural stone's character, bringing a tranquil and beautiful ambiance to your garden.

An Original Design Emphasizing Japanese Essence, Ideal for Gardens

Designed under the supervision of ISHIMO staff, this stone Buddha, with a gentle impression, aims to make Japanese stone carving more accessible in daily life. Its soft appearance harmonizes well with any setting, be it outdoors or indoors.

The creation was undertaken by a stone artisan specializing in stone carving in Kyoto's Keihoku area. Proficient in crafting large stone Buddhas and dragon sculptures, this artisan excels in capturing the natural essence while intricately sculpting the expression of the Buddha in this unique piece.
